When I was a kid, I fell in love with the movies. I was ten years old when my mom told me that I could go to the movies alone BY BUS - two buses actually - but I had to be very careful and follow her directions. I was very careful and I followed mom's directions and I arrived at The Embassy Theatre in North Bergen, New Jersey, where I got to see Margaret O'Brien in "The Unfinished Dance" (little did I know at the time that it was a Hollywood re-make of a famous French film). At the time, The Embassy Theatre showed only the films of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. I had found and entered an enchanted paradise and I always looked forward to those Saturday visits to the MGM Wonderland.
